keebler68 Discussion starter. 2 posts · Joined 2020. #1 · Oct 3, 2020. My 2017 Tiguan has start problems. When I push the button it sometimes doesn't do anything. I have to push it many times sometimes to get it to start and same thing turning it off. Sometimes it works the first time.

It’s probably battery related like the comments above state. The auto stop start feature will disable if the battery is below 85% state of charge. Doesn’t mean your battery is bad necessary but it will shut the function off. Taking it to the dealership shouldn’t require too much time.
